    Not just good food!
We were in Savannah on an intercoastal cruise. We had only three days there. This restaurant was recommended to us. We tried for two days to get a reservation and finally did for lunch on the third day. The food was excellent, service was superb. If you make it here and I highly recommend it, be sure to stroll through the whole house. There is a tavern in basement where a few could eat as well as a wine cellar. There is a ballroom upstairs and many smaller rooms throughout the house used for dining

    An Enjoyable Dinner!
Returning after a number of years, the experience was excellent, as before! Our request for a corner window table for 4 was honored. Shared fried green tomato appetizer was enjoyed by all. Entrees, scallops, flounder, chicken pot pie, and chicken breast were excellent. Service was a cut above. An enjoyable dinner!

    Visited Twice in One Week
We had dinner at The Olde Pink House twice during our visit to Savannah. The first time we dined upstairs and we enjoyed our dinners. The second time was downstairs and this was not as enjoyable as our first visit. The seating downstairs is really limited and the wait for a table can be very long.

    Historical mansion with great food
Wonderful historical place to eat, restaurant is in a beautiful old mansion. Elevators are available because the stairs are steep. We had Crab Beignets as appetizer, so good! For entree I had crab cake with fried green tomatoes and a salad and hubby had buffalo chicken tacos. Both were great. Our server Jennean (sp?) was knowledgeable about all the food and told us history about the house. After the meal we toured the house. If you want dinner reservations I suggest you make them about two weeks before your trip on Open Table. They do take a few walk ins for lunch and dinner but there is not many. We did a walk in for lunch and got there about 10:45 and did not wait long at all. I would love to eat here again someday.

Go to the bar if you can't get a reservation in the dining room.
My sisters and I were so bummed that we couldn't get a dinner reservation. But we found that we could drop into the bar anyway. Although we were for cocktails and not for dinner, we did sample a few things. Fried green tomatoes, macaroni and cheese stuffed poppers, pecan pie and peach cobbler. Everything was amazing. Do not miss this. We sat at the bar, John provided excellent service.

    An absolute MUST!
We are still talking about how delicious the food was, starting with the biscuits! (we took 5 to go!) We had the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken dinner, and the pecan crusted chicken...WOW!!! Our server, Ian, offered his opinions and he didn't steer us wrong! And then there's the ambiance...I felt transported back in time while walking through the many different & unique rooms of the house (be sure to check them all out - they come in many different sizes and shapes and definitely see the basement bar & wine caves!) My only complaint is that OPH is not closer to Brooklyn!

    Couldn't have been much better!
Absolutely stunning... atmosphere, food and service! Our waitress (i honestly forgot her name, and that makes me mad) was spot on. A younger lady that was working the upstairs night of July 6th. (single mother and teacher) she was personable and professional. Food and timing was impeccable. Highly recommend.

    Must Go
Please add this to your list of places to visit. If you are planning a trip make reservations now. They have room for walk ins but the basement is first come first serve. What a treat for the senses.

    Best of Savannah..
We had dinner here on our 45th wedding anniversary July 8th in the library and as I had expected it was wonderful! I had the fried chicken and my wife had pecan crusted chicken..both were fantastic. Definitely order biscuits..they melt in your mouth. Our server Briana was an absolute delight, very knowledgeable about the menu and very, very friendly! We are planning a trip during this December and plan upon dining here every night. Also I would suggest after dinner to go to the bar downstairs and listen to Kenny Munshaw at the piano!

    Can be overhwelming
I'm not too much of a foodie, but I did enjoy what I believe was a pecan-crusted chicken. Was very good I must say, but Savannah is such a rich town that I would not want anyone to limit themselves or stress over going here. My one main dilemma with this place is it does take a lot of time in its reputation, and that is reflected in its customer service. While it is great, it becomes overbearing. Imagine Disney World Cast Members, but times A HUNDRED. I requested this one item on the menu that ended up being out of stock and said it was all good, next thing I knew, 4 different workers at all various lengths were coming to me. I appreciate it, but they were making a big deal out of fries. Do you want to have a fancy night and feel a bit like royalty? Perfect! This place is for you. But if you get overwhelmed and want to know more about local life, try out a different spot.

I was so looking forward to this Unfortunately for us not a good experience at all. We were seated in a corner at a very small table. Service was not good. Other than when we ordered and got our food the server never came to our table. ordered the scored flounder, the house specialty, and it was very disappointing. Over cooked and very tough and tasteless. Maybe the normal chef was off? We would have loved dessert but the server didn't come back after we had finished our meal. We asked another server if she could get our check. That's when our server came back. Would not go back

delightful dinner at the historic Olde Pink House! Lots of southern comfort food, innovative and new variations and presentation. Remarkable tenderloin, lobster and pork chop. Side dishes were a little less well presented and maybe sat on the warmer too long, otherwise it was 5 stars. Jalapeño margarita was distinctive and makes you want to know how to make at home!

Awful experience and will not go back again. We travel to Savannah for business many times a year. In the past the Pink House was wonderful. Over the years it has gotten worse and worse. Yesterday was the limit. They were out of a signature cocktail. Then they were out of the pot pie and the scored flounder. We were told they were low on the evening specials as well so hurry and order before they are gone.
I ordered a cosmopolitan and wanted to sit a minute and enjoy as did my husband. What I got was a glass of bitter lime shaded pink. So I sent it back for the next one to be worse. 3rd try was something different and after waiting half hour it finally came but was not what I had ordered. Without our appetizer or cocktails served, our salad arrived with wilted lettuce. We spoke to the manager about our situation and the waitress not being available and he said he would take care of it all but never came back. After being there for about an hour we decided we were going elsewhere. But the waitress ignored us when we tried to call her over. So we got up to walk out…. This got the managers attention and he rudely called over to us for all to hear that he will not be billing us. He had nothing to bill us for. We ate but a half a biscuit, didn’t have a drink and never touched to wilted salad.
On out way out a group of people were complaining about the same thing. Very disappointing. We have referred many people here and will make sure to direct them to other favorite
spots we enjoy.

We had two seats at the street-level bar. We sat down at 8:05 p.m. and our entrees were finally delivered at 9:40 p.m. We're fairly easy-going customers, but this was crazy long. The bartender was initially friendly, but as the night progressed and things continued to go downhill, he stopped making eye contact and became evasive.

Making things worse, the food was ordinary at best. I ordered a "bowl" of the crab soup. The portion was closer to a cup and it was lukewarm and fairly bland. The shrimp cocktail included 4 medium-sized shrimp (with no side plate delivered). We received no bread or biscuits.

Then, when it came time for the entrees, my "seared" scallops were lukewarm, flavorless, and rubbery. I never send food back, but I was concerned I might get sick from raw fish, so I sent them back to be cooked more. The replacement dish was a bit warmer but still not seared. For a $40 entree, it included three quarter-sized scallops! The green beans were bland, as were the mashed potatoes. Both were lukewarm.

My wife's salmon was overcooked and dry. She had to wait until after her meal was complete to receive the cucumber side dish. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but it's a mystery to us why people rave about this place!

At least the manager took note of the lousy service and food and comped my entree and a glass of wine. We only went here because we were given a $200 gift card. If we ever return to Savannah (which DID live up to the hype) we'll still have $120 to spend here, so hopefully the next time will be a better experience.

p.s., we had a great meal at Belford's in the City Market and recommend that place over this.

My second time having lunch at The Olde Pink House restaurant in beautiful Savannah. The setting in this old house is spectacular and the food outstanding. The food, atmosphere and service make it must do. I can’t wait to dine there again.

I chose this restaurant for Easter dinner, and it did not disappoint. Our server was Bailey, and she was so nice and gave us so much information on the house and its history. She also provided excellent service. The restaurant had run out of biscuits which was head shaking but Bailey found us a batch. My sister had the She Crab soup, she liked it. My mom had the pot pie, she thought a bit soupy for her taste. I had Fried Chicken as well as my sister. We both loved it and compared it the other fried chickens we would taste on our trip. This was hands down the best! My mom and sister had the Pink Lady drink, they enjoyed it. I had Three Taverns Pilsner, also good! If you eat anywhere in Savannah, eat here, but get a reservation.

Set in a quaint tastefully restored and decorated 18th century house, The Olde Pink House was a highlight of our long weekend trip from Charleston to Savannah for my birthday.
We came for brunch and were seated at a corner table by a window. Michel’le, our server, was delightful and prompt with help from auxiliary staff so we never had to wait for anything. The biscuits were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We also enjoyed the cheese sticks with a little bit of kick. My wife had the salad with a creamy red wine vinaigrette dressing topped with a perfectly cooked, moist and tender slab of salmon. I ordered shrimp and grits with the creamy grits instead of the grit cakes per Michel’e’s recommendation. It rivaled any shrimp and grits I’ve had in Charleston. They also have excellent choices on their wine list with the excellent Catena Zapata Semillion blend from Argentina complementing our main dishes. For dessert we shared a Praline basket with vanilla bean ice cream with various fruits that was amazing. Their house blend coffee with free refills was $4 but was great with our dessert.
Do not miss The Olde Pink House if you’re in Savannah but do make reservations even for lunch because everyone knows how good it is.

Best dinner in Savannah! I was told it would be good but the meal, as well as the ambiance and decor exceeded my expectations! The wait staff and manager were attentive and checked in on us several times! I had the jumbo sea scallops along with the baby greens salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing! Be sure to also have the Pink Lady lemonade! Absolutely amazing. We will be back!
