We went to a "thirsty Thursday" Savannah Bananas game in this great historic stadium. It was heart warming to see all of the families enjoying a night out. There were also plenty of young (20 and 30-something) people walking back and forth, back and forth, looking for "the one." The owners are obviously passionate about baseball and it was interesting... More

Wow! A bunch of us guys went to opening night and the place was a zoo - but, not in a good way. First there was an hour and a half rain delay; but, that is the fault of the big guy. There was something crazy and stupid going on all the time between innings and during the game. We... More

Did not get to see a game, but the 2 ladies in the office were kind as could be. We were even given a brief tour of the stadium. It is truly a throwback facility. Sorry our trip did not coincide with a game. I'll be rockin my Bananas hat here in the Midwest!

It's a classic, old-time, up close and personal baseball experience. Not so crowded and conveniently located.

Last Summer the historic Savannah Sand Gnats played their final game in Grayson Stadium. The Stadium was 'too old' and did not have the 'amenities' expected. I loved Grayson Stadium. But then I also love Wrigley Field and Fenway park. This stadium has the depth of history. It is beautiful with huge, lovely fans, boiled peanuts and a view of... More

Located in Daffin Park, Grayson has a long history of minor league baseball in Savannah. It doesn't knock your socks off like some newer high tech venues, but it oozes small town baseball and harkens back to a simpler time. I understand there are some big plans to really upgrade the ballpark experience, I just hope they do it without... More

It's too bad that decision makers in Savannah forced the hand of the owners of the Sandgnats to sell to a new owner away from Savannah. Grayson Stadium is a historically significant ball park in the USA. Grayson has seen shoeless Joe Jackson, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and many more!! Sandgnats will be missed,... More

This place is so cool to watch a baseball game. The history is incredible. I love the picnic area along the third base line. I can always bring home a foul ball.
