One public and one private cruise. Both highly interesting, relaxing, and a good way to see the water-side of Savannah. The public trip showed us the Savannah port and then wended through the river estuary's large nature area up to the I-95 bridge. The second trip circumnavigated Skidaway Island, east of Savannah. Knowledgable and motivating guide. We are actively looking... More

We had a private boat tour for 6 adults. We saw dolphins, eagles, herons, egrets, etc. The guide (Buddy) was very informative and he knew a lot about the river. Reasonably priced for a private 2-hour tour.

My wife and I travel often and generally sign up for tours when visiting a new location. As such we've had a great deal of experience with tours and guides. Without question Mike Neal provided one of the most entertaining and informative tours we have ever taken. If you don't know about Mike, he is fabulously qualified to guide groups... More

The folks at Bull River Cruises provided transportation for our large group from the airport in Savannah all the way to Daufuskie Island. They were timely, professional, fun, and accommodating. I would strongly recommend them for transportation needs. I can only imagine how fun they would be on excursions!

We had a 1.5 hour cruise on a pontoon boat that was PERFECT! Saw dolphins! Great view of Paula Deen's house. Mike the guide was top notch and narrated the entire time! FUN for all ages. Our group said it was the best things we did on our trip to Savannah.

When you go make sure you ask for directions because it's kind of hidden. We used Google map and it took us in back of Publix, near the marina. So we ended up calling them. We spoke to Mike about two of our kids who get motion sickness and we didn't know if they would last an hour and a... More

We took this tour on an amazingly beautiful day in October 2014. The tour boat was nice and our tour guide "Capt'n Gator" was very knowledgeable and entertaining. My only wish was that we has gone a little further out or up river to see more scenery/wildlife. We went to a great spot to watch dolfins and saw a pod... More

Thank you for the review but unfortunately you reviewed the wrong company. Capt Gator works for Bull River Marina. We are Bull River Cruises and operate out of Hogan's Marina. We tend to do longer and more in depth tours then Bull River Marina. Capt Gator is a great guy and we are glad you enjoyed your time with him.... More

Captain Buddy was phenomenal. He was able to engage and teach our Girl Scout troop about the wildlife and history of the Georgia coast. He also made it fun and exciting for the girls!
