Our carriage driver was funny and knowledgeable of Savannah history. Very comfortable and enjoyable tour! He was hard to hear at times, though, which was not his fault. The city was noisy.

Let me just make clear that I have no issue with carriage rides so long as the horses are well taken care of. That said, I was extremely uncomfortable during our carriage ride because one of the horses really seemed to be struggling. It wasn't...More

Hi Andrea, I'm very sorry for the perception you were given that we do not care for our horses on the same level that Charleston does. I wanted to take a moment to address a few items from your review, and offer some insight. I...More

We had taken a trolley tour in daytime, this was a similar route but with the ghostly twist. Nice. Convenient location in Market Area and restaurants. You can bring a beverage. Lots to learn and see. The only thing missing was costumed "spooks" to address...More

This is my third time in 6 trips and I still enjoy since each driver has their own spin. The route has changed very little, but still a good time and an easy outing.

There were 4 of us in our party and 12 total in the group. Our tour guide was great, she had a lot of "ghost" stories to tell about some of the famous mansions around the city. The horses were well behaved and although the...More

This carriage tour is a great way to introduce yourself to the layout of old town Savannah. You get a good basic history of the town in an hour. Much better than the Bus tours.

Can you recommend a good restaurant for dinner near the Carriage Tours of Savannah. We have a 7:05 carriage ride so we want to eat fairly close to meeting the ride.

B. Matthew's Eatery on the Corner of Bay & Habersham is a great place. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tavern menu or dinner menus are available and they won't break the bank. There are several other pubs, pizza... More

We tipped $10.00 for the two of us. If your troop fills the entire carriage consider a dollar it two per rider.
