Savannah History & Haunts Candlelit Walking Ghost Tour

727 reviews
Though charmingly romantic by day, Savannah becomes altogether spookier after sundown. Discover the city’s macabre side when you embark on a nighttime, ghostly walking tour, illuminated by candlelight. Meet your costumed guide in central Savannah after dark, and discover its historical squares, cobblestone streets, moss-draped trees, and even its cemeteries. As you go, learn about the city’s scariest ghost stories, unexplained happenings, and chilling characters.

My husband and I had talked about checking out the prohibition museum for a while and we're so glad we did. The museum was well designed and full of fun and interesting information. Definitely worth a visit for couples and families with teens who might appreciate the history and some of the stories.

My husband and I took the cocktail class on a whim while we were in town celebrating our anniversary. It was the highlight of our trip. Our instructor, Paul, clearly knew his stuff and was so entertaining! We learned so much and had an incredible time. We came out of the class with a list of items we've already ordered to make sure our home bar is well-equipped for the new recipes we learned (though new equipment is not necessary at all- you learn a lot of tricks in this class). I would not have said that we were cocktail novices before this class, but as promised it definitely builds your confidence and understanding of the history, science, and art behind a good drink. I would recommend this class in a heartbeat.

I had no idea the history of all this. It is really interesting the facts I learned that they never mentioned in school. It has so many artifacts from the times and how it greatly impacted everybody. A very interesting museum.

This is a unique experience which I had initially considered a part of history. Interestingly, to students of history you can see many correlations to current situations. Very interesting for both the casual observer and true historians.
