We traveled over the bridge daily and had a nice view of it from our hotel and from downtown. It reminded us of the SF Bay Bridge and marveled at how it added to Savannah's skyline.

We have to cross this bridge to get to Savannah. It always unnerves my husband to cross this bridge. I always recommend the inner lane. The first time I ever crossed, I laid back and just held up my cell phone and clicked pictures. This time, I was brave enough to look. There is a history story as to how... More

From off in the distance as we were approaching Savannah, this bridge is quite striking to see. And from our hotel and other areas downtown, you can still get great views. It is named in honor of Eugene Talmadge, Governor of Georgia back in the 1930's and 1940's.

There was a car accident on the bridge just a short distance ahead of us. We got stuck pretty much at the high point of the bridge and sundown. The views were wonderful while we waited for about 45 minutes (before we knew what caused the backup). You can see River Street from the bridge, and you can see large... More

Not that it is much if a tourist site, but it is a beautiful bridge. Great photos can be had by day or night from River St. or from in front of the post office.

This bridge says Savannah, I've crossed it many times and the view is great!. You can see River Street from the bridge. The bridge makes a great backdrop for photos while on the river front. I love to photograph bridges!

Very cool, attractive, and fun bridge. We only drove across it, I didn't notice if there was a walking option or not... Great views of it from River Street in Savannah!

Crossed this bridge several times and it offers great views of the river and downtown Savannah. The bridge is a key part of the landscape and at night you can see it from quite a distance as I noticed coming back from Tybee Island. Adds to the skyline of the city in a positive way.
