Visiting Savannah is a great way to indulge in history and great food. River St in particular is a must with all the shops and restaurants along the river to choose from. A new area called the Plant district has finally opened and is just a great mix of 18th century and ultra modern.…

Nice leisurely walk. Chance to see the cargo ships coming in and out of the harbor. Typical souvenir shops. Several restaurants and bars.

River Street is wonderful! Many shops, great restaurants and cargo ships navigating the Savannah River. This time of year (and prob COVID concerns) the River Street walk was not too busy at all. So very nice relaxing and just watching the River. We stay at the River Street Inn (another great option)!!…
