Pretty little square on the 'outskirts' of the historic downtown area of Savannah. The gazebo was donated by Burt Reynolds. The square is peaceful and wasn't crowded. Good quiet square for a picnic or nap!

This is a square that sits near a couple of retirement homes. We mainly saw locals using the park. They made us feel very welcome. The gazebo is adorable, as is all of the park. The square is very beautiful.

At the intersection of Habersham and East Wayne Streets, it is set in the southeast quadrant beyond the heavily trafficked streets of the city. It is dedicated to Rev. George Whitefield, a major figure in the Great Awakening, who was a pastor... More

Whitefield Square is on Habersham just South of Liberty and is one of the prettiest venues in historic Savannah. The gazebo is one of the favorite wedding sites in the city and the surrounding buildings give one the real feeling of olden times. This is pronounced whit-field, omitting the e. It doesn't get any better than this, riding in a... More

My niece and her best friend had the pleasure of getting married in Whitefield Square. With it's tree lined square, gazebo in the center, violin music and flowers, they couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to get married.

I love this square. I ride my bike through this square all the time. I think it has a lot more than some of the other notible squares. It has a more historic natural feel. I like the benches too. Also theres a retirement home across the street and sometimes theres some quality entertainment there too. Great place to read... More
