Stopped by on the way to another destination. A little serpentine through streets to get to, but worth the GPS work. The docent, Dodie, was personable, down-to-earth, very informative, and obviously fully engaged in sharing the details of the house and lives there. Non-flash pictures...More

Nestled in a walkable park is this nicely preserved and appointed house of Barrister Carroll. The tour guide was fantastic, enraging and knowledgeable. Good place to learn more about Maryland history and the upper crust lifestyle of days gone by.
