If you are a tourist or you live in Baltimore, the Inner Harbor is one of those places that is timeless. The peace and serenity is always here by the water, regardless of the time of year. There are a variety of places to eat and drink, as well as shop. Also we have numerous places to view by boat,... More

The Inner Harbor is really fun and safe to walk around. We were there at night in January and it was just fun to walk around, see the different establishments, ships and architecture of the buildings. You will see a police presence but we had no issues and that was around 11pm when we walked back to hotel.

This is the name of the place and it's crazy fun! I just stumbled on this place while walking through Harbor Place in downtown Baltimore. You can't pass it because they'll call you in. If you don't like making a scene, you'd better just go in and enjoy. And you will!!

I could spend my whole life at the Inner Harbor - ok maybe a bit dramatic. It's so clean and quaint - and did I mention so much seafood? From the Texas coast to the Inner Harbor I HIGHLY recommend. There's so much to do for all ages, and I fell in love.

This is basically a bunch of national chain restaurants and mall stores arrayed around a body of water. The girl watching is also uninspired as well.

One of the nicest downtowns in America. Shops, sights, shopping, and eats. The Inner Harbor is Baltimore and vice versa.

Great way to spend the day. Great place to walk around and shop, grab some lunch or pick up a few unique gifts. Be sure to Wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking (I usually carry a backpack with a few bottles of water and a few snacks because everything is way over priced). Restaurants tend to... More

There are many tourists there in the summer but at lunch time you will see many of the office workers come with their bagged lunches and sit on the steps and enjoy their lunch. I lived in Balto and the inner harbor is an attraction for us that live there too!. It's wonderful to go to dinner at night with the family or to go and just sit and watch the boats and the bands that play outside. Some people even dance. The Orioles baseball stadium is right there and its a magnificent field. Fort Mchenry is a great place for school age children and show them right where Francis Scott Key was when he wrote the star bangled banner and the bunkers that were built to watch for the enemy. Field trips from area school's took us as a classroom there many times. A boat tour takes you up one side and down the other of the Chesapeake and tells you all the history along the way. Even takes you over an underground tunnel that cars go thru everyday. They built those fantastic hotels in walking distance for the tourist and the prices are not outrages. The big aquarium is there plus you are only 1 hour from DC to take in all the sights and history that has been preserved there. Most places people go on vacation are touristy so please don't miss out on the inner harbor and also the history of things right there in that city. Fells point is very nice if you like to shop little antique stores. My friend and I had lunch and shopped there many times. It has a huge farmers market with all fresh produce great if you live there. What time of year did you go badbloke? I sorry if you didn't find it pleasant with less people.
