Art comes from the soul in many different ways

It's nice to see untrained artist' artwork, folk, mentally & physically compromised artist that can express themselves openly. Rotating exhibit that is always uplifting.

Great place to visit. Combines Baltimore history (screen painting) with modern art pieces. Gift shop is worth the visit on its own. Great place to pick up little "stocking stuffers" and old time memories (PEZ, hand buzzer, etc)

This museum is really neat! I've lived here for years and never knew about this place. It has some neat works of art and things that make you think. The temp exhibit having to do with food is awesome and interesting. We loved browsing the store too. Lots of cute little things and funny things too. We had to keep... More

The museum is really good place not only for artists but for those who want to taste a different art experience. The museum has many floors where you can move smoothly from one to other. Although I'm not a big fan of museums but this one attracted me and I was glad to go there. You want to see something... More

This is an easy walk across the inner harbor in Federal Hill and well worth a visit. This museum features "outsider" art and is very different in terms of a museum. Many of the exhibits are in smaller rooms and the museum is accessible.

The Visionary is a great place for adults and children alike. Even your grumpy teenagers will smile, especially if you can give them $10 to spend in Ted's unique and wonderful gift store. There is something to delight everyone from mechanical toys to operate to entertaining sculptures and colorful paintings.

Went here yesterday with my husband. We were told how cool and quirky it was and wanted to check it out. It didn't disappoint. Not a bad location. We stayed at the Hyatt at the harbor and took the water taxi over to the Rusty Skipper and it was across the street. Loved the museum... including pics. Staff were very... More

Visit it with my aunt, both of us loved it. Especially last building with many art toys, we played all of them with several small kids. Must go with whole family.
