The trolley gives information on the city as you go past places. The river walk can get very long so taking the trolley makes it easier to get from one place to another. Can't beat the $1 price tag.

Our Inn Keeper recommended this ride. We got on at the Maritime Museum stop and road it both ways along the waterfront. It's run by volunteer who give you detailed information about the things you see along the way. If you want "hop on/hop off...More

This is only a short ride (3.1 miles each way) but well worth the $1.00 per person fare ($2.00 gets you unlimited travel for the day). The trolley is operated by an all volunteer force and you can sense their love for the project as...More

I took the Halloween Trolly ride with my kids and we enjoyed the trolly as well as the conductors and the writer who was telling us creepy stories of Astoria past. I like seeing this trolley in town going up and down the riverfront. The...More

The free shuttle took us from one end of town to the other and made it very easy to get around. There are two lines which came frequently.

All the conductors on this trolley are volunteers. They care enough about their town to give of their own free time. We enjoyed this seated journey that was so reasonable: $1 for a one way, $2 for all day riding. I appreciate how much pride...More

No clue what the "attraction" is to this. Boring, definitely NOT worth riding. Perhaps some find the conductor amusing, but I did not. This does take you along the waterfront where you can find much more entertaining places.

I believe one conductor said it's about an hour round trip. Only I don't think it goes 'round. It goes out to one end then reverses and goes back the way it came. It has cool seat-backs that flip or ratchet into the other... More

My personal experience is that I have never had to wait in a long line for the trolley. I suppose it is possible, but have never experienced it.
