Once a part of the CSX railway line, the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail will be a thoroughfare for hikers, bikers, and equestrians when complete. This unique park provides a 14.5-mile greenway between Imeson Road and County Road 121, just past the town of Baldwin.

A fun place to ride bikes and not have to worry too much about traffic. There are a few places you will need to cross the road but most of it is worry free paved riding. Lots of families riding bikes, walking/running, or even rollerblading....More

A great bike with wide lanes, differing views, and very friendly users. It's typically windy in the area which assists in keeping the bike lanes cooler. Make sure to bring sunscreen, water, and snacks with you.

Love this for exercise, esp. bkining. Great shade along parts of the ride so you don't get overheated. Ride trail is very well set and can gets some great sights such as birds and turtles. Great for taking walk with stroller.

I do not like riding the roads so really appreciate Rail Trails. This is an easy road so you can concentrate on cycling, except for the crossroads. Most Rail Trails have crossroads so not a big deal. Nice ride.

Being an old railway, it is very straight, but for the novice bike rider very flat (no hills). I believe it is around 20 miles from one end to the other.. some interesting stops around 9 miles in if your heading east. Some historic buildings...More
