OK, this is a complaint against nearly ALL community owned venues. The cost for admission for most events these days makes consideration of spending too much money to see a ninety minute show with tickets hijacked by seat scalpers a second consideration. If we were able to see events at the printed cost of the ticket, great, I might not... More

Great place, nice and cool in here, lots of space. I am so proud that Jacksonville Florida has this place for any and all conventions! Out of town era use this Center as well also.

We typically go here annually for the Christmas Made in the South and other events. There was a home and patio show that we went to as well. The venue is by no means modern, but serves its purpose. The city could probably do it some justice and do some updating or build a completely new convention center. The people... More

I have been here many times for a number of events. I think it is a great place to go and conduct business. I would also recommend you go. It is a clean and safe place. Parking is never a problem.

Have attended Home and Patio show yearly. Attended women's show. Lots of room for vendors. Ample parking for a fee. Security.

This convention center is a mid-size place perfect for hosting, as an example, the Home & Patio event, which is popular here in Jacksonville. There is plenty of parking and the staff are welcoming. The only downside is unlike other venues, there is no hotel attached to the convention center and so out of town visitors will need to cab... More

Went here for an indoor cheer competition. The facility looked a little sketchy from the outside but wasn't too bad on the inside. The venue was pretty good. Limited snack bar available for lunch and the prices are average for an event like that. Parking was in an empty dirt lot across the street for $5 per vehicle.

This is the ideal location for events of all sizes. The large convention room offers lots of options for any thing from business fairs to seated receptions. There are also several class rooms for smaller meetings

I have been to this convention center several times having lived here, played many volleyball tournaments in this facility and also set up for conventions in this facility. I will just say lock your doors because it is in a bad area of town.

A small convention center for such a large city, but they are able to cram a lot of exhibits into this building. The Prime Osborn Convention Center used to be the city's train station years gone by; has been renovated to be a small scale convention center. No hotels next door, but some hotels are within walking 8-10 blocks into... More
