Not much of a park to visit but it offers excellent access to the Baldwin Rail Trail (There is a bathroom at the trail entrance). If it's your first time bring a bicycle, ride west into Baldwin, have lunch at "Everybody's" then ride back to...More

For years I've wanted to visit this Jacksonville park but either it was raining or too hot or I was to busy. I finally got the chance this year. It's sort of an isolated park so use your GPS. When we arrived, there was lots...More

We went today to take a guided hike and learn about the Civil War times. Guide was excellent. Plenty to explore. Will definitely go back to hike the trails.

This historic park is very well later out with something for everyone: history, bike/running/horse trails, etc. It even has a section with trees descended from Civil War trees.

Love the Civil War history lesson and the hunt for the Geocahes in the area. We noted that the bicycles paths prompted us to come back with our bikes and experience them.
