Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. We do not breed, sell, or trade any of our animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, foxes, and coatimundis (the last two are "honorary cats"). We are only open on select days, and last admittance is 45 minutes before closing, so please check our website for the most up-to-date information.

Feel very sorry for these animals. Stuck in small filthy cages. No natural habitats. Animals don't look well fed. The poor lion paced up and down the cage. Nothing for these animals to do.

Visited on 3/15 and enjoyed a GREAT time! Starting with our very knowledgeable guide, Jordan, we toured the facility and she answered all of our questions and gave a personal touch to the tour. Stayed for the nighttime feeding and watched the big cats come alive! Pacing in anticipation, growling, roaring and looking their fiercest, the cats were certainly looking... More

We visited on a weekend evening. The group tour was informative and the staff person was friendly and welcomed questions. The animals were all active and anticipating dinner, so we were able to watch them move around for quite a bit of time. The actual feeding was a tad theatric at times, but with the majestic nature of the diners,... More

Loved the tour, inexpensive and you are helping the big cats. Kids will enjoy this as well as adults. You can even adopt one. First time I ever heard a Lion roar in person! Can I say wow!!

We had a great time seeing all the tigers, lion and other animals. The haunted house was scary and did make you jump and or scream even as adults. There were also a lot of volunteers at tables to do arts and crafts with younger children. Many children and adults wore their Halloween costumes. It was something different and fun... More

I have seen Catty Shack grow and evolve from a back yard big cat rescue effort to a full-fledged wildlife sanctuary. The big cats and other unwanted wildlife spend their final years here in an open and safe environment. The sanctuary is small enough to still have a very personal and non-commercial feel to it. Highly recommended.
