Hugenot is a reminder of what a great part of the world we are lucky enough to live in. North Florida at its best.

Now secret or no secret spot I have been coming out to the North Jetties for 40 plus years now. We have been surfing here since the boards were so big you could hardly get them into the car. Back far enough the townies used to hate us Beach folk from Jax Bch there were many fights in the water,... More

This place is the best in the summer, driving along the beach and pulling right up along it, seems like the beach is miles long. Great scenery and not a lot of tourists. Absolutely love it!

One of the best beaches I visited. The best part of the experience is you drive on the beach. Very natural, relaxing beach. I recommend going on a week day to have the feel that " you own the beach by yourself" 😎 . There is camping area which is conveniently located near the waters (bay) very quiet. Great for... More

This place is just average as to the amenities, BUT if you have young kids you know it is a chore to go to the beach...toys, chairs, gear, towels, coolers...here it is worth every but of $5 to be able to park right on the beach!

We decided to go camping at Huguenot Memorial Park. It was a wonderful experience. It was nice and quiet and the views were spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. There was plenty of room for the cars, tents, and chairs. Would recommend this to anyone in the Jacksonville area. We also... Only beach in Jax you can drive on...so watch your children. No drinking. Get there early or wait in line. Watch the tides as well if your an out of towner.

This is a primitive campground. We were there in Feb, and really enjoyed the peace and quite. Relaxed. Rode bikes on the beach and watched the ships and jets from the Naval base..Was told this area was really busy with locals during the summer.

Really enjoyed a day at this park. I will say the good things first. Convenient for Jacksonville people, $5 entrance fee, lovely beach, great people watching, lots of birds, fresh water shower station when done, lifeguards, ship watching. Now for the not so good (to me...others may find it ok). If tide is in, you have to go to the... More

Some things you can't unsee. That should be the tagline for this place; the people watching is excellent if not disturbing. You'll see everything from bikini clad women twerking in the morning sun as a photographer snaps glamour shots to people with bikini's actually tattooed on their body. Literally. You can drive on the beach here; the only place left... More
