Grab your camera and go to the Friendship Fountain. On a clear night you can get Jacksonville skyline pictures.

If possible, visit it at night to see the colors. You can take the riverwalk down the south bank from there so its a nice walk in the evening. If you are seeing the sights downtown, stop here, see the Landing during the day also,...More

The fountain is beautiful regardless what time of year. It’s always glows festive colors. Great place to just relax and watch the view.

You see this in pictures all the time. It looks great in a screen shot but its even more beautiful at street level. There seems to be a breeze that comes across the fountains

Wish we had stumbled upon this at night - I bet it is gorgeous! We just walked around the area sightseeing and enjoyed it. Very quiet, peaceful area

We walked this at day and night time. The night time, just takes your breath away. Great walking to get there. Beautiful beautiful.

Yes there is ample parking and is handicapped accessible. Bathrooms are available. Plus there is a restaurant next to the fountain as well as the Museum of Science and History

When we visited it wasn't working. I'd call jacksonville city parks and rec and find out if it's operational and reserve the time then. Keep in mind, it may be hard to hear the ceremony over the noise of the fountain if it... More
