To begin with, so many things were closed down, including one of the main attractions that we paid extra to see with the more expensive ticket! The first gift shop we came to was closed, both of the soda machines we went to, desperately trying...More

We had a great time. There are plenty of animals and exhibits. Prices are reasonable and discounts for military/AAA are offered. The animals appeared well cared for. I’ve never been to another zoo so I don’t have anything to compare but my family enjoyed the...More

If you have time the Jacksonville Zoo is a nice place to visit. It is not a real large zoo but what they have is worth the visit. My wife really liked the Bald Eagles.

No but they have a train that circles around park. You can either ride to the back and walk, forward or go to back and have it take you back to the front to the exit. The food is toward the back of the park though.
