This is part of the FDR Library grounds. You can only enter as part of a tour. You see the first and second floor. It's a great peak into a wealthy family's home of the period, as well as look at our president lived in...More

FDR’s home and library. It is packed with artifacts and information about the man and his presidency. It is well worth an afternoon. FDR and Elinor are buried on the property.

The place is humbling in The sense OF The simplicity OF The House. Grandeur and aprreciative OF The historical significance OF The place. A good first hand look at life OF a president during those Times. A must place to see.

The guided tour of this home was wonderful. Our guide, Paul, was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and seemed passionate about the information. He also let us explore at our own pace each floor and was available for whatever we needed.

It's always interesting to see how people lived in earlier times. FDR's home is no exception. The grounds (a working farm) and visiting his and Eleanor's burial spot is worth a visit.

The tour would have definitely been 5 stars if there weren't 50+ of us allowed to do the tour at one time. That was way too many people to be intimate and enjoyable. We go on many, many tours and have never dealt with more...More
