What a fantastic place to visit. So often, we focus on the battles of war, but there is so much more. This is the story of a civilian. Although it has a sad ending, Jennie Wade should not be forgotten. This is her story.

Good tour for the price. The guide gave us a better perspective on how civilians and families were affected by the battle, some very tragically. Thanks again.

1862 Inn definitely is pet friendly. It is also a great centrally located hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there and plan on staying there again next year!
