I missed out this year but I am truly excited about seeing the battle that we can planning to return for the next reenactment. We'll be coming from Texas just to see the battle.

Last time we went (in 2013) the event was at another site. We actually saw far more this time and for once the Southern forces were close to the spectator area. A god turn out for Sutlers, but not enough period music

To see the reenactment on the 3rd day of the war was amazing. The people did a great job, and the moderator did an excellent job of the explaining what actually happened.

Compared to the past, this year was so-so. When it was on Table Rock Road, at least the announcers were good and there were demonstrations and interesting aspects of the battle. I am a reenactor and did many Gettysburg battle events in the 135th -...More
