David Wills was a popular person in Gettysburg. He welcome President Lincoln to stay before deviation of battle field.This p!ace where Lincoln wrote his final to the Gettysburg Address. David Wills was devoted to the Gettysburg cause.

We went for a tour of the David Wills house. It looked like a modern museum and not the old fashioned house Lincoln had stayed in. The entire tour lasted about 10 minutes. There are other more authentic tours available in Gettysburg. I wouldn't recommend...More

I really enjoyed this museum. The exhibits were fairly repetitious but it’s still quite a quick stop. I believe it took us both under an hour and I read and watched everything. Bring your AAA card for a discount.

Yes, do stop in this museum. It is smaller but it is one of those experiences that add to your knowledge of a major piece of history. Putting one's self in Lincoln's place (literally) the night before the address, somehow adds to the Gettysburg Address.

If you really want to read, see, and listen to everything the museum has to offer, I would say 11/2 to 2 hours.
