We enjoyed the 3-D exhibits and the "cellar experience" was a great way to understand how towns people saw the war.

The artifacts and set up are done quite well. The movie from the Civil War Trust is in their big theater and is worth watching. It gives you a good idea of troop movements by diagram in addition to the main parts of the movie.

This museum presents some different perspectives in the battle, for instance the affect on the local population. Some of the exhibits are 3-D. there are short films interspersed through the exhibits, and a 20-minute movie at the end. The gift shop is extensive.More

This is a wonderful museum. It was very informative and had a different spin to it than all the other museums in Gettysburg. You cant beat the price. We would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Gettysburg.More

Our motel was across the street from the Heritage center so easy to go to. What a wonderful and emotional experience. More information on the local peoples experiences.
