We happened upon this cute local chocolate shop and the employees were so helpful and I loved the peanut butter filled milk chocolates and a store special - chocolate Easter baskets.

You can go crazy here - so many delicious chocolates that you could go for We were very careful in picking a few flavours that we wanted to try - fruity ones, ones with nuts etc, All of them were very good. We then went next door to their cafe and had coffees and our daughter had their hot chocolate... More

A lot of people go here, and this is one of the best chocolate that I ever had. They have different kinds of chocolates and different shapes and things. They have chocolate shaped as the Liberty Bell!

Lore's is on 7th Street just south of market. It is a cute little candy shop where they make the delicious chocolates onsite. When you go in, you choose the size of your container and the clerk goes around with you to explain the different chocolates and put those that you select in your box or bag. They have some... More

This chocolate shop is highly rated for a reason. The proprietor is friendly and offers information to guide your purchase. They offer free samples. I just wish they offered a tour of the factory beneath the shop. Great for quality vs quantity gifts and personal treats.

This place is a treasure. I used to work across the street and would go buy my piece of chocolate for the day. I even had the chance to visit their factory, and I was very impressed by the traditional way they still operate. The store is always very clean and there is a lot of choices, from chocolate to... We fell into the coffee shop next door of the same name and tried the chocolate covered pretzels. The dark chocolate was so delicious we went next door and bought a box as well as some stocking fillers - chocolate car and bike, some jellies and chocolate covered nuts. They are going to on the cooking channel in December so... More

Lores is the place to go for the perfect gift. A hostess gift or just a little thank you-they have it Easter time is an experience-the only candy store where you can still have your name on your Easter egg. Summer they have special candy treats and molded chocolates are a specialty Highly recommend

Lore's Chocolates is a must for anyone in or around Old City Philadelphia. Before even stepping into the store, the aroma waffs outside to the sidewalk. Once inside, you are greeted with a server and a tray of samples. Yes, please! Obviously, I did not buy enough of their dark chocolates because they were gone in just a couple of... More

Sightseeing through Philadelphia, I came across this decadent little place that was just amazing. I have to admit the aroma coming out was the reason that brought me in. Needless to say, picked up some essential chocolates for the family. Best souvenirs i have ever bought. In Philadelphia make sure you stop by, the stop is worth it.
