Run by Barnes and noble. Nice assortment of the usual college apparel and books. Good cafe inside. New and nicely appointed but not a "charming" space

The Penn Bookstore include much more than books. It is like the Nordstoms of bookstores. There are books, clothing, university and city paraphenalia and an adjacent cafe. Returns are no problem if returned within 30 days. Just browse through it when you get a chance. Also, it is one block away from the Sheraton Hotel. Very convenient.

Bookstore, sells everything you needs in daily life. Agh, expensive though. Nonetheless, bookstore has variety of collection. You can buy small items as souvenir for yourself or for family and friends.

Remember the days when you could hit a university town and spend the day moving from bookstore to bookstore, browsing with purpose and stretching your brain in a matter of hours? You can still do that here. While UPenn Bookstore knows it's 2016 and has all of the requisite merch, books are still the name of the game. Top sellers... More

I love this bookshop! A wonderful ambience with inspiring architecture and friendly staff. Brings together a good store of academic theoretical and course-related UPenn textbooks with community aspects such as a good cafe, excellent local books (e.g. on murals and local history, plus art and design), and an interesting selection of gifts, cards, and student/ graduation/ sports clothing plus UPenn... While this is a college bookstore, it offers many other options. Not only can you buy books for UPenn's classes, but there are other books, such as fiction, non-fiction and magazines, etc., that you would see in a non-college bookstore as well. There is a wide selection on UPenn apparel and souvenirs, such as pens, bookmarks and glasses. They also... More

I love this place. There are a great selection of books, UPenn apparel and games to buy. Tables and nooks are throughout the bookstore for reading and study time. The cafe is great, fast and good prices. It is a great place for a peaceful time away.

Every time I travel to Philadelphia, we go to the bookstore here. They have a great selection of cards ad I usually get 5 or 6 while there. Pens, Shirts, Hats, UPenn Clothing, and this time we bought a very nice certificate frame that was etched. Then we went upstairs to the Starbucks and all had a drink while watching... More
