We were here walking up and down walnut street on a Saturday night during prime Christmas shopping season however almost all of the stores closed at 8pm?!?! I was shocked 8pm on Saturday night? During Christmas? These stores were definitely missing out on business in my opinion!

One of the main streets on the historical site seeing plan. So much to see and several places to eat. The streets in this area all general lead to food or history.

Walnut Street is not the restaurant mecca it once was, but there are enough shops, restaurants, bars, hotels etc. to make this a worthwhile stop, especially in the center city area. It's worth a visit to this street and neighborhood as well as to neighboring Sansom and Chesnut Streets.

This is a nice place to sit and relax. Although surrounded by tall buildings, it's a little hidden gem. There are benches to sit on and the water fountain provides tranquility

The majority of designer and fashion stores are located between Broad Street and 18th Street. Farther to the east are a variety of shops, eateries, bars, hotels, and office buildings.

This cafe is located in a prime area. Great for small concerts! Standing for this concert but tables and bar in room. Can order food and service available.

My wife and I walked up and down Walnut Street enjoying all of the historical sites while walking through the historical section of Philadelphia. With over 200 shops and a spot on Women's Wear Daily Magazine's list of the most expensive shopping districts in America, Walnut Street is a mandatory stop for high rolling spenders. After eating at a gourmet... More
