The design of the fountain is awesome. In summer when it's sunny and very hot weather you will find yourself on this cold spot. You should smell the fresh air and enjoy water droplets. It's fantastic feeling.

This is a large water feature that has various creatures spraying water into the air including frogs, turtles, a large fish, likely a goose, and of course, a swan. It is the work of the son of the man who sculpted the Penn statue on City Hall tower. Bathing in the fountain is prohibited and perhaps unsafe as the water... More

Swann Fountain is an impressive centre piece of Logan Square, which is in fact a circle. A traffic Island. An open small green space/park, pavements circle the fountain with segmented green/lawned areas & several benches. Sculptures of Native American figures symbolise the areas major streams. The fountain & park is a nice tranquil area away from the surrounding heavy traffic... More

If it's a hot day and you have young kids, it's a nice place to stop to cool down. Great view on the museum of art and the city hall.

We stayed at the Logan and the Swann Fountain was outside our window. We went there after a night sight seeing. It's pretty.

The Swann Fountain is the centerpiece of Logan Square, which is already one of Philly's best parks. It's surrounded by magnificent buildings (that are also great attractions) and the fountain is on during Spring and Summer.
