Take a Free and Friendly walking tour with us! It’s free, which means you tip us what you want. It’s friendly because we’re friendly folks. And it’s Philadelphia because we love it and want you to love it too. We’re a Philly company and we’ll show you the whole Philadelphia – or the whole of what’s in walking distance. We lend our friendship freely and we’ll gladly recommend a place to go out after the tour.

Mark is a warm, knowledgeable young man who gave us a good overview of the downtown area of Philly. A great way to use your time to see some really important historical things and learn a lot of interesting facts.

I went on the Cheese cake tour 16th September 2016, with mark. It was in and around the Independence Hall area. Mark was very polite and had great knowledge of the subject about the revolution of 1776 . Mark even took us inside a Quaker meeting house, where a nice lady gave us a short talk on the Quaker movement... More

My first encounter with free and friendly tours was back in the winter of 2014. Our tour guide John was excellent, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the historical highlights, without having to pay the price of every other tour company in Philly. I recently went back on the tour this summer, and let... More

We really enjoyed our Colonial tour today! Mark was so knowledgeable and pleasant! We were only going to be in Philadelphia for the day and he accommodated our schedule with little notice. The tour was dog friendly too which was great because we were traveling with our dog. Thanks for a fun and informative afternoon!

I had a great time learning about Philly's history with Mark. The tour covered historical information on the architecture, the american constitution, politics, and cheesesteaks! Mark is very knowledgable and friendly. He answered every question we had with complete confidence. The tour was truly authentic and special. Absolutely worth it!

I followed the Colonial Cheesesteak Walking Tour with Mark during one of the hottest days of the Philadelphia summer. Making 2 hours of walking around the heat feel like a breeze is the best compliment I can give this tour. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects (connecting the historical to the modern, explaining the basics of early American society, religion and... More
