A little pricey compared to other theatres. Elevator was in back, not Elevator. Popcorn was delicious though.

We were supposed to leave at 5:40 pm. We boarded he plane on time and got to our seats at 5:15. Then the crew discovered that there was no food for the coach class cabin. So then we waited for almost an hour as they slowly loaded the kitchen for the coach class. Finally around 6 pm they closed the... More

I lived in South Philly my entire life and I love this movie theater. It is especially awesome for daytime movies with the kids. Always ample parking and the movies are never busy!

I've only been to this theater twice (both times for advance screenings) and both times it has been very poorly sanctioned... the lines were very jumbled and there was no good explanation of where to go. Upon asking someone (who looked like they would be able to answer our question of where to go) we were given a very arrogant... More

We were in Philly for a concert and decided to see Star Wars, I read the reviews of the Riverview Theater and was somewhat skeptical but the theater was fine and the parking under the highway is like a huge parking lot with spaces marked off. The people, popcorn and bathrooms were fine as well. I'd go back there the... More

The movie theater was very clean with prompt and courteous service. The seating was comfortable. The only issue I had was with the down escalator. It was not operational and if you had someone handicapped or elderly it was a frightening set of long and high stairs to leave the theater.

The best thing i can say about Riverview is that it is the only commercial movie theater in this part of the city. If there is EVER a choice, I always go to the Ritz instead. Positives: 8+ theaters Seats are Ok Lots of parking under the highway a block away Negatives: Slowest, longest popcorn lines I've ever seen Packed... More

Far from the best movie theater in the city but has plenty of parking and plenty of screens. Avoid weekends - too crowded.

This theater has lost control, of itself. It is noisy, dirty and teenagers seem to run the place. The concession stands need improvement and the cleanliness needs improvement. I won't go there on weekends, during the day.
