I had heard of the Magic Garden from friends, but I was not prepared for the surprise it gave me. Amazing creativity and dexterous construction!

I'm a tile maker and was really inspired by all the mosaics, I especially love the ones with the mirrors. An the artist has a dvd and a small book telling you how he works. He also has workshops where you can work on a mosaic with him. Loved it.

We loved this unusual mosaic garden created by a living artist over the past 15 years. Make sure you check out the inside exhibit the well which includes a video explaining the development of the garden. On nice weekends, there can be a wait - you may have to buy a ticket for a later time in the day but... More

PMG is a beautiful one of a kind labyrinth of shiny objects and hidden messages. Its a really unique place to visit when youre in Philadelphia or if you live here and have out of town visitors. In addition to just a regular visit, they have lots of evening and weekend programs that are fun, for adults, kids, or both.... More

We unfortunately did not have time to go in but it is apparantly a very common tourist stop. The line waiting was down the sidewalk out front. We could see the buildings exterior and it was incredible. I think it would have been an interesting stop.

I have always wanted to see the inside of the garden and my husband bought me a membership. The beautiful art work is a must see. You need to walk through it several times to see everything.

A friend had told us about the Gardens. Well worth the $10 price of admission. It is completely covered in mosaics, bits of glass, dishes, even bottles and bike wheels. Very unique patterns. The exhibit is partially indoors and also outdoors, with steps going down to another floor. It's in an interesting neighborhood. The artist has also created other mosaics... More

I cannot believe what this man/artist did in the middle of a city block! And his work is peppered all over the surrounding neighborhood. What a labor of love- and to share it with the public is extra special.

Magic Garden's is a Philadelphia must see! Well worth the $10 admission. My family and I spent a little over an hour walking around, admiring the eclectic and artsy mosaic tiles that seem to take up every spare inch the place has. Located in the middle of a neighborhood, it takes you off the beaten path a bit so you... More
