I love animals and can't get enough of them. This zoo is pretty cool. They have a walk way the big cats can move from one inclosure to another so they aren't in one place all the time. It's a first of it's kind in America's first zoo. Big cat falls is awesome also. If you live or are here... More

My wife and I enjoy visiting zoos when they are near the places we are visiting, so when we visited Philadelphia we made it a point to visit their zoo. We were both glad that we made the visit. This zoo shares reciprocity with some other zoos which in our case allowed us to get in for half the standard... More

We began the Christmas season with Breakfast With Santa at the Philadelphia Zoo. It was an event that, in general, was well done. It seemed that we had to check in at 4 - 5 places before being seating. Without being aware of all that was being verified, part of this seemed to be redundant. Santa toured the tables while... I had a great time every time I go here ever since I've been little. The Philadelphia Zoo is talked about a lot at many different places and is a great tourist attraction as well.

A beautiful Saturday following Thanksgiving was spent at America's first zoo - Philadelphia Zoo. Easy to find and park, and clean, but so late in this surprisingly warm wether we were able to see many of the animals. The giraffes went in and out of their homes at will, as did the hippo. The only animals were didn't see were... More

The Phila.Zoo opened over 142 years ago and is a must see attraction when you are in the Philly area. Allow at least 4 hours and enjoy a luncheon in the park. Kids love the Kidzoou. All for the youngsters and more so for the parents to watch the excitement and smiles on their faces.

Very clean! It was a nice day trip - our group was 3 adults. The zoo is laid out very well. It is easy to navigate and see all of the animals up close and personal. The baby gorilla was precious. The Beer Garden was the icing on the cake.

I was really looking forward to visiting this zoo as our friends have an annual pass and visit regularly. I must start with the positive and say the whole area is clean disabled accessible, the staff are polite and have much information to give you. Unfortunately I was shocked at the size and condition of the enclosures for the large... More
