If you find yourself walking on the College Green of the University of Pennsylvania look east and you will see an imposing red sandstone brick and terra-cotta building in the Venetian Gothic style. It is the Anne and Jerome Fisher Fine Arts Library, also called the Furness Library, named so after its Philadelphia architect Frank Furness (1839-1012). The outside of... More

Our lovely and lively campus is now full of greenery - new leaves and smell of greens are all over. Hatchlings are coming out of nests, insets are hovering though grasses, butterflies are happily roaming and collecting nectar. Life is absolutely awesome in such a green campus.

Such a nice variety of architecture, landscaping and the excitement of an Ivy League campus. Worth a stroll.

I'm not sure I would have ever added this to my sightseeing list if it weren't for my daughter's interest in the school. As far as college visits goes, this one was one of the better ones and I'm really glad we went. Parking is the hardest part of the day, and fortunately Penn had good information on their website... Great place and a great university. The campus is very well maintained and very open and with a friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to my daughter being there for 3 more years!

right down the street from 30th st station, Penn campus is mostly a very nice place with a rich history. Home to two of the miost iconic sports venues in the country (the Palestra and franklin Field), I have spent many days and nights in these two places.

History oozes from every step on the Penn campus. Ivy everywhere, with many newer buildings and attractions. World class and globally renowned school, home to many famous graduates. A must stop and visit attraction that should be on anyone's visit to Philadelphia
