If you love cars, this is your place!

We go here a lot with the kids. They love looking at the cars and the museum space is great! They have live demonstrations throughout the summer that are really worth watching.

What a FIND! Did a simple Google search while visiting Philly and found this GEM of a place. Amazing cars from the beginning of car-time. It will take about 2 hours to see this place completely. As you're wandering around you might meet up with one of the volunteers who will lovingly devote as much time as you want to discuss... More

The Simeone museum is a chance for friends and family to bond over the history of automobile racing! There is no auto museum on the planet that has a better collection of milestone racing automobiles and yet this museum actually provides running demonstrations of three to five of these cars every other Saturday! I highly recommend this museum because there... More

As a woman, whose husband is an auto fanatic, I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this place. But there were descriptions next to most of the cars that shared the history and stats, which in my mind really helped create the story behind the cars, versus just looking at old cars I don't know much about....it was educational and fascinating.... This museum is literally a shrine to race cars. It almost brought tears to my eyes when I walked into the exhibits. We attended on a Demo day, so Dr. Simeone was there to present the chosen cars for the day, and we even got to see the rare Grand Sport Corvette romp around the race area out back..in the... More

Wow! The Simeone museum houses a collection of some of the most significant cars in the world, including the first Cobra Daytona Coupe, still in original condition.Getting to see this car alone is amazing, as it is the first car to be named to the National Registry of Historic Vehicles, due to its historic importance. 65 cars on display for... My son and I stopped in on our way to Philly. It was hard to leave the museum. The collection is magnificent. Everything from unrestored examples of important racers to multiple LeMans winner. The museum regularly takes out the cars for drives around the property. We missed the session, but I would go back again just for that.

This collection pretty much started out as the private collection of one of Philadelphia's finest surgeons. A true hardcore car guy, and he loves the hobby as much now as when he started acquiring these cars. He is on premises pretty frequently and is totally approachable and loves to talk cars. A good guy! The museum is layed out in... More

I have two car loving boys (ages 10 and 12) who could not wait to come here and it didn't let us down. Neat museum tucked by warehouses near the airport. Definitely worth checking out. My mom and I actually enjoyed it as well. Great to come on demo days (Saturdays) or on a Wednesday like we did when you... More

This is worth going to if you are visiting the area, even for people who don't have a strong appreciation for cars. What a collection! Also has neat old film clips of the cars on display racing. Really enjoyed the motor you can turn on to see how an engine works. Fascinating! So many beautiful old cars in amazing condition!... More
