Staying in mammoth we called up the gondola and we all very much enjoyed the views from the top. Not cold either. Around $30 each and under 12's are free. Great views from 12,000 feet on top of the world.

You would think Mammoth is a place for skiiing. It is an excellent venue but during the summer this place rocks with bikers -- mountain bikers that is...and zip lines and bungie trampolines. So much to do -- great for all ages.

Plenty of activities, things to do, places to see, hikes to trail, and food to munch on! The people that work around here are just wonderful, especially at Mammoth Mountain Inn & The Bar & Grill. You will love it! Great for families and friends!
