Lots of different animals to see and they also have a trail that goes into the woods where there is a tire swing in the clearing

But please make a donation to support it if you do visit. Great programs and a wonderful resource for hands on learning and play. We take our small child there often. She loves the goats and exploring the garden. Wear appropriate shoes and plan to be outside.

Every summer of my childhood I visited my grandparents farm in northern Ohio. When my kids were young I was so excited to find the Learning Tree Farm right outside of Dayton. We became regulars and my 3 kids even became honorary farm-hands working with the animals and helping the staff. Now my kids are grown and married ... I... More

We LOVE this play! Every year we attend their fall festival and my kids have a blast. We look forward to seeing the dog heard the sheep.

Went to the Little Red Hen program the Learning Tree Farm was having on May 15 and had a lot of fun at it. Took our 14 month daughter and she was able to touch baby animals of all types. They also did a demonstration on sheering a sheep, which was very cool. We were also able to participate in... More

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Learning Tree Farm on Saturday. We live five hours away, but decided to visit as we were in the area. We are already planning a trip back. We visit lots of zoos, amusement parks, and other places, but this is definitely our new favorite. My almost two year old had... More

We demonstrated the art of blacksmithing and included kids in the process. They loved it and we did, too. The farm is VERY kid friendly and educational without being over-bearing.

Learning Tree Farm has been in existence for years. The education staff and management reside on-site. Learning Tree Farm is an excellent opportunity for a family outing, for youth groups, and especially for all kinds of school groups. For a small entrance fees both city folks and suburbanites are transported back in time to a much simpler Ohio. Well worth... More
