The museum was "okay", but the views from the overlook were spectacular. It was an easy walk from the parking lot to the overlook, even with a bad hip. This park is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

It is beautiful there. However, not sure it is worth coming that far out of your way to see. Maybe wait until your travels bring you closer.
