The only building you can enter is the building housing the schoolroom and museum. The museum should really be described as a bookstore as that is what it mainly is. The rest of the buildings are either fenced off and/or no entry allowed.

Go on the weekend when there are docents. Do take the trail to the cemetery. Although few of the graves are marked, it is a sad and lonely place. Would have been tough digging too. The little graves were probably the children/babies. Glad we took...More

Okay so the website looked really great. We went on a weekend so that the school house was open. The little guy inside was nice enough. But this was the only building you were allowed into. The others had signs to stay out or fences...More

We checked this out while visiting Tombstone and were really impressed. Great walking trail and interesting to walk around without having people constantly trying to sell you stuff. Highly recommended.

It's a part of history. Took the short hike up to the cemetery and really enjoyed that. The buildings and such? ahhh, I've seen old buildings before. From up on the hill (cemetery) you can get a better picture of the lay of the land.

This is an old west railroad town originally having many names, becoming Fairbanks and finally Fairbank in 1882. The town survived 90 years but finally became a ghost town in 1972. If you like history you will enjoy the town’s museum, buildings, hiking trails and...More

The train platform and railroad bed are still there. I found them to be interesting. We were there during the week, so no docents were on site. It would have been more enjoyable with one. Docents there only on the weekends. We hiked up to...More

This was an old town during Tombstones hay day and beyond on the San Pedro River. The old general store and school buildings are still there. It was a railroad terminus. Not far from the famous stage coach robbery where Bud Philpot was killed and...More
