Located about 500 yards away from the visitor center this is a must see if coming to Yorktown. You can also drive a car and park nearby.

While in Yorktown and checking out the sites, make sure you see the monument and get a photo-op. Easy to find and easy to get to and part of the walking around the Yorktown area.

Saw this on the trolley since it was raining. Need to learn about the history of the sculpture at the top and the reason for the monument.

It is a privilege to walk where George Washington led the forces who, with a lot of help given by France, trapped and defeated Cornwallis and the Red Coats. Never gets old!
