Driving the parkway in the fall is a must. The colors were amazing as were the views. I wish that all my drives looked like this. A sight that must be seen to be appreciated!

It had been many years since I had been on this beautiful parkway and I wasn't disappointed! It is as lovely as always. Just a little disappointed the foliage hadn't turned colors!

Traveling through time on the trail of Virginia's Colonial History? Take the Colonial Parkway not the crowded roads of today. You will enjoy the shady-wooded trek and the quiet, reflective mood created on the Parkway.

Visited in Oct and it was NOT crowded at all. We spent about 4 hours here and it was a gorgeous day to stroll thru the village and shops.

Yes...of course. It is open year round and locals use it to avoid I-64 when it gets jammed up or they want a peaceful, easy drive. There are a lot of historical markers and pull-offs. I great place to go star gazing as the... More

We typically cycle from Yorktown to Williamsburg, grab a bite at the Wine @ Cheese shop at Merchant's Square, then return back to Yorktown for Ben & Jerry's
