I loved this place but I think it could do more. As an international visitor it was impossible to use an app. I missed a good map and guide source. They need a rental audio guide and they need a big contextualising film like st...More

I have been visiting Colonial Willamsburg since 1964. Every year That I return I find something new to learn. Whether you visit the palace, capital building, Barret Hall, eat at a tavern or take a carriage ride there is something for everyone here.

Colonial Williamsburg was reconstructed using original foundations and plans of each building, street and businesses. The actors portraying the people of the time are very good at what they do. You get the feel of what it was like to live during the period of...More

Loved this historical park. As a history teacher, I loved every moment of walking the streets of historical Williamsburg. I loved how people are in character in all of the shops and streets. You feel like you stepped back in time...

We walked the old town then wandered down to the water and the beach. Quaint little town with so much history.

This park is actually made up of three locales: Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Jamestown is the ruins of the historic settlement, while Yorktown is the lovely town and notable battlefield. Colonial Williamsburg is by far the most famous and is worth a day all on...More

There were no carriage rides, there was nothing to do except take the trolley around the area because it is only spring time so nothing is open! The saving grace to that was the person driving the trolley was very nice, friendly and funny.
