The New York subway is cheap And although the stations were exceptionally hot when we were there, the trains are all air conditioned and clean. Be prepared to get lost a few times, but the system is so good you can hop on and off easily. A...More

We rode the subway with family and friends who live in the city. For someone not from NYC I would have found it intimidating to figure out on my own. However, that being said, the rides were easy on and off, the stations were clean...More

Yes the subway system could do with a facelift etc but what is great about it, it’s ‘’Cheap as Chips’’ You can more or less travel from one end of Manhattan to the other and it’ll cost you less than $3. What’s to complain about,...More

Best way to get around New York. It's difficult to understand at first and especially when there are 2 or more entrances to the subway, you have to make sure which one is the correct one you want.

For $2.75 you can’t beet the metro. Use card on train and bus. Cabs and car services are always stuck in traffic. Ride the metro. It’s great!

The NYC subway is a fast and efficient way to get around the city. Get a good tourist map that will make getting around easier.

easy subway to use, as long as you utilize Google maps to help guide you (it can be confusing otherwise -- not sure how people got around before google maps). For the most part, it was clean.

Our subway is the world's greatest. It's not the cleanest but the men and women of the MTA work very hard to make it as efficient as possible. Fastest way around town!
