This wonderful play set in Buffalo in the 70's is about an Irish Catholic family during a time of change and how the younger family members are done with secrets and ready to move on with the times. It is the story of deep family...More

On many of my NYC visits, I see some theatre. This time I went to Cherry Lane Theatre in Greenwich Village. The performances here dates back to 1924. I prefer smaller Off-Broadway theatres, where I feel more relaxed and like the atmosphere better.

Just walking to the Cherry Lane Theater is a true Greenwich Village experience. It is on a charming lane that is authentic, yet evokes images of a movie set (like the cheerful umbrella street scene in the film, "Singing in The Rain"). The theater itself...More

A very nice quaint theater in the heart of Greenwich Village With a long history dating back to 1924. F. Scott Fitzgerald, T.S. Eliot, Gertrude Stein and others have been on this stage.

Small quaint theater in the heart of the Village, nice extremely helpful staff. Only 60-80 seats. Melissa Gilbert currently performing in If Only until September 17th, try to catch it before it ends.

We have been here several times, most recently to see Horton Foote's A Traveling Lady. There are no bad seats and the acting and production are first rate. Tickets can be purchased through TKTS, which can mean substantial savings. Afterwards slip down the block to...More

I just saw The Traveling Lady and it was extraordinary. The theater is small, the staff very polite, the only drawback is it's a good walk from the train station and I easily get lost in the village.

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

I'm doubtful but there are parking apps to try. Try spothero (I can't put the URL in the response, how silly)
