Typical club, reasonably priced!

Having been in party scene in NYC for last few years, I have been to Cielo many times. The dance floor is on the smaller side and on most days their DJ lineup is decent and... read more

Cielo was the first club I went to in NYC, back in 2008. It is now 13 years old now which says a lot for a New York club as they come and go so quickly. Firstly, they book some of the best DJs and have never strayed into the mainstream EDM or flashy hip-hop as far as I can... More

We looked up the best dance club in NYC and Cielo came up. We made our way there but was not aware it was mainly a male gay dance club. Nothing wrong with that but that was not the type of venue we were looking for. So it was an in and out for us. Even more when we were... More

Cielo Club is a small lounge/club has great lighting and mostly EDM/techno music but has a great vibe.

Club is small...... not up to parr with lounges out there - disappointed. Place looks like a 80s flashback - expensive weak drinks.

Don't bother to go here. Turn 180°, walk to the corner, turn left and head to the Trudy Bar. I'm here from Australia for the Greater New York Dental Meeting with my dear friends showing me around the Meatpacking District. I did however come across the best 33- 43 pre-extraction grill I've ever see 😂 Told by grill boy entry... More

Cielo Club is why we flew to NYC. My birthday + 2016 Election = need for furious dancing! It's hard to believe but dancing is hard to find in most cities any more, degraded to loungy pickup bars and worse. Cielo is ntimate (translation:small) but a perfect dance floor, great lighting and a cordial welcome by all staff. House Music... More

Having been in party scene in NYC for last few years, I have been to Cielo many times. The dance floor is on the smaller side and on most days their DJ lineup is decent and nothing very special. Tables could range from 350 to 500 that are away from the dance floors and 1000+ that are right on the... More

..and so is the website: 15 dollars but it was actually 30. And it is just a squared room, nothing else. It has awful music and a bunch of creepy dudes "dancing" that crap. I'm European and I have to say they have no idea what a disco/club is like. Definitelt DO NOT GO THERE IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
