We did both the Top of the Rock, and the Empire State (including the Observation Deck) and this was the best, in terms of giving really good cityscape views. It's exciting to get up and you get a great sensation of the size and vertical...More

We chose the top of rock over the Empire State Building. The views were great. The price was high. We spent more time waiting in line than at the observation deck. Worth doing. But you're going to be a little disappointed.

It too us quite a while to find the right place to buy tickets but after that all was fine. Needless to say the views are amazing.

Up on the 65th floor is a lovely bar and eating area with amazing views over the city. If you are game enough go out on the observation deck for the best photo opportunity.

Best view of Manhattan in my opinion. Empire State Building in the distance and so much more. Book ahead and try to go at sunset. It sells out quick. Make sure you utilize all of the levels of the observation decks. Most people just get...More

Been to Empire State Building many times, first time here and I would come here again. Lines are shorter and it gives you a good history of how the buildings and areas got started. I think the view is just as good if not better...More

Good place to take pictures from the bird flight height. Similar to Montmartre or Eifel tour in Paris, but much more higher. This is a basic tour, so the only information you have are three 4min length movies downstairs. Some smartphone application is avaible, but...More

I didn't buy tickets in advance because I didn't know when my family would feel like going. We ended up going after the 9:30 am Sunday Mass in St. Patrick's Cathedral. We barely waited when getting tickets and taking the elevators. Manageable crowd. I think...More

Hi, you can go anytime but preferably day time and it's not necessary to buy VIP access because even if the line seem long, you will get in pretty soon.
