If your first shopping expeditions were at the neighborhood drug store, Bigelow's is for you. Every conceivable item is available for sale, and the staff are friendly and really helpful. Very little has changed since the turn of the 19th century. I even got some...More

Visit a pharmacy on your vacation? Only this one, and it's a must-see. Very old, with jaw-dropping prices on rare perfumes and make-up, in a beautiful setting in a wonderful part of Manhattan.

I love this place! The place itself is great, with the old wooden cases and tile floors - NYC has lost so many it's nice to still have Bigelow. There are three features of this store, any one of which would be killer in a...More

The small building is packed with health and beauty products. Vitamins, hair care, dental care, cosmetics, skin care, etc. The Bigelow products are high quality. They also sell major brands like NARS, Lipstick Queen, and Shiseido.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
