We stopped in "just to browse" and were first overwhelmed by the beauty of the books, then by the prices— several thousand dollars per volume! For serious collectors only, unless you are content to just admire their lovely collection.

Went in to take a peek at the rare books and it really was unbelievable! So many things to see, not just books but papers, notes, letters... I took cataloges home to browse more...

Bauman consistently delivers the finest bools available at every level of interest. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable, especially Justin McShea, who is top-notch.
