Absolutely fantastic. We loved every minute. Yes the rink is small but is managed well. Music was really good and festive. Staff really nice and friendly. No charge for locker. Could be easier to find the entrance to the rink/ ticket desk. Massive tick off the bucket list.

I would recommend the Rink as a memorable and unique way to experience the amazing Manhattan atmosphere. Ticketing was quite simple as was the entry process. My only complaint was being offered decently sharp rental skate and one completely dull skate. I asked for another pair and had the exact same experience. Staff were expectedly ambivalent to my concern. So while the skating was unnecessarily treacherous, the overall experience was good.

Overall it was a great experience and enjoyable. Having said that the service could be significantly better, especially with the VIP ticket. Yes, the sakes aren’t sharp, but you aren’t going for hockey practice. However, the people working there would prefer to be anywhere else. This should be a fun and friendly experience, but just getting in, getting the skates, etc., is such an ordeal. Regardless, great fun on a pleasant day…but it might be time to train the staff.

The Rink at Rockefeller Center is an iconic venue in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The ice rink was founded in 1936 and opens every year during the winter season. It is in an incredible position within the Rockefeller Center complex. Whenever we were in the area of the rink it was always busy, unfortunately we didn't have the time to skate on the rink on our latest visit to New York. It is one of the highlights of the city and is situated between West 49th and West 50th Streets and a short walk from Times Square.

Too rigid for a place that is supposed to be fun. My daughter could not join her brother because they only allow to get in at the half hour… even with us agreeing to pay for the full hour and stay less. Note: the rink was far beyond capacity! Also: staff should be better trained and not be on a bad mood.

Roller skating in the spring! Yes, they convert the ice skating rink to roller and then play roller disco, which I love, on the sound system. Such fun and the crowd loves it. Plus lots of rainbow flags for June, looks great. One of the best urban design places in the city.
