Loved this place!!! We went two nights in a row we had so much fun. First went on Friday night where the band played 90's music. There is plenty of space to dance and you can get as close to the stage as you want or stand back and take it all in. Saturday was 80's night. The band is... More

The club had a really good atmosphere and the bar staff were all very friendly and quick. The80's band "Jessie's Girl" rocked! We loved all of the songs, they did such a good job! Had a great night here. If you like 80's music you have to check out "Jessie's Girl"

Went here in early august for the 80s tribute with Rubix Kube and had a BLAST!!!. Great band, nice place and lots of fun. People had dressed up, myself and my party included. 3 hours of great fun for reasonable price. Bit expensive for the drinks, but everything else was great. I would recommend this to everybody. Doesn't matter if... More

My friends and I visited to see Rubix Kube, the 80s tribute band. THEY ARE EXCELLENT! Most of the time, if you close your eyes you think the real artists are in front of you. And they do a lot of different bands! The costume changes are great too! As for the venue, it was OK. The name is true,... More

If you want to relieve the heydays of the 80's come to the Canal Roomo when Rubix Cube plays. Me and my friends had a fantastic time dancing and singing to Madonna, Rick Springfield, Bangles - we had such a blast. Kick off your shoes and hang out at this fun place!

I recently attended a concert at the Canal Room. I had expected it to be a snotty place - but was going to see a friend. To my surprise and delight - the staff was so friendly, courteous and might I add "eye candy". Even the doorman was a sweetheart - big man (could've been scary), but he was just... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
