I went last night with my 28 YO daughter who lives in New York. It was fun, the food was good. The drinks were more than pricey so we ordered beer which was warm, and just didn’t drink it because you are required to order...More

My wife, my parents and I went to the Comedy Cellar last night and had an incredible time. We had great seats near the front and saw a group of 6 different comedians. The entire show lasted a little bit under two hours. The comedians...More

Great show and was a good environment for having fun. Service was good but waitress was rude about splitting up the check.

Great comedy show in Greenwich village. Ensure you book weeks in advance for weekend shows. Occasionally standby seats are available for no-shows. Have to purchase 2 items but food and drinks were both great. It is tight seating so arrive about 25-30 minutes before the...More

Hilarious string of comedians .. including the host. Friendly service. So glad we were not seated right in front of the mic. Tight seating. Will definitely go back.

We were told this place was a must when visiting NY. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. We arrived at 8 and put our name on the waiting list. We were rudely admonished not to show up before 9:30. We went for a walk and came back...More

Was in NYC for a buddies weekend away. Booked the 11.15 pm show and we (mainly me!) almost died laughing. 6 comedians we'd never heard of and Jeff Ross at the end. Everyone one of them was brilliant. Would highly recommend a night out here....More

I attended a gig with some friends and had a great night! Laughs all round, tasty drinks and a great atmosphere! A must if you live in New York or visiting!

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

I don't really know. As I wrote, we were invited into the " cellar" by the waitperson and didn't have to wait on any line ...but that was a few years ago and dont know if that policy still exists..
